Are you living the way you want to live?
Henry David Thoreau said, "If a man advances confidently in the direction of his dreams to live the life he has imagined, he will meet with unexpected success." Purpose is the quality we choose to shape our lives around. How would you define your purpose?

In his book The Power of Purpose, Richard J. Leider presents ideas for finding fruitful purpose in our lives and work. He writes, The key to acting with purpose is to bring together the needs of the world with our unique gifts in a vocation . . . working with purpose gives us a sense of direction. Without a sense of purpose, we eventually lose our way. We live without the true joy in life and work. Until we make peace with our purpose, we will never discover fulfilment in our work or be content with what we have.

US President Woodrow Wilson (1856 - 1924) said, "You are not here merely to make a living. You are here in order to enable the world to live more fully, with greater vision, with a finer spirit of hope and achievement. You are here to enrich the world, and you impoverish yourself if you forget the errand." As you allow these words to sink into your mind, you may wonder: how can I personally enrich the world? How can my efforts enable the world to live more fully, or with greater vision, or with a finer spirit of hope and achievement?
