Christian Men and Women
Saint Jude

Jude was one of Jesus’ twelve Apostles and was also known by the name Thaddeus. He was a quite and humble man and some believe he is the first cousin of Jesus.
Pictures of Jude often show him with the flame of the Holy Spirit touching his head; Jude was so filled with the Holy Spirit that he wanted to tell many people about the love of Jesus.
Jude travelled far to Syria to teach people to be humble and pray to God. Many people converted (changed) to Christianity especially Jewish people. Jude is the patron saint of the sick.
The virtues that Jude displayed throughout his life were Prudence, Faith and Hope.
