Gordon Brown

Some of the qualities of Gordon Brown are that he has shown great courage and confidence.

James Gordon Brown was born in Govan, Scotland in February 1951. He is the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. He took office on 27 June 2007, three days after becoming leader of the Labour Party.

Before he was Prime Minister he had a job called the Chancellor of the Exchequer and he was the longest serving. While Chancellor he was responsible for writing the budget. He has a PhD in history from the University of Edinburgh, and, as Prime Minister, he also holds the positions of First Lord of the Treasury and the Minister for the Civil Service.

He has written many books on courage and has asked why do some people have so much courage?
